People usually had a love/hate thing going for Larry King, really.
He was respected for the way he could get people to open up to him.Mostly because he was not afraid of asking blunt questions.
He was also hated for the way he would ask those blunt questions.
A lot of people thought he was going after the gossip (shallow) part of an interview, instead of good,hard-hitting journalism.
He was the host of Larry King Live from 1985 to 2010.
The "final edition" of the program aired on December 16,2010,but a new episode on the war against cancer aired two days later on December 18.
Larry King Live was replaced by Piers Morgan Tonight, a talk show hosted by the British television personality and journalist Piers Morgan.
I haven't watched Piers Morgan Tonight yet, actually,so I'm not sure how the two compare.
He doesn't compare to Glenn Beck, because Beck is a paranoid hack, that has no idea what he's talking about. In my opinion.
Larry is an active member of charities and a user of Twitter.
He tweets every day about what's going on in his life.
