How do you get motivation to exercise?
I don't belong to a gym, so I can't afford it. I have several different videos at home, but I really don't like exercising at home because I lack the motivation and I'm usually distracted. The only time I have no problem exercising is on days with nice weather when I don't have any appointments immediately after work. There's a track around a pond right next to where I work that I walk around.
I'm trying to get myself into the habit of getting more active and having some trouble. How do you all get motivated? And any suggestions for me?
Keep in mind, I'm still a beginner to exercise. Running is too much for me right now, both for my asthma and my joints. I do walk at a fast enough pace to get my heart pumping and my lungs working. My muscles have a long way to go.

What I do is I make working out a responsibility.If I want my health to improve I know I need to do more than just eating right. I need to get my body pumped and healthy. Think about your family, I know they want you to be healthy and live a long life. So exercise for them if you can't exercise for yourself. Run for 10 minutes everyday on that track. Then as time goes on pump it up to 20 minutes then 40 and so on.

The best time to exercise is in morning. This is the time when no one disturb you and also you will not distract by other thinks. Make small targets like for weekly and monthly basis and try to achieve that. When you will achieve your targets then you will get motivated. This thing will inspire you.
