Having taught German, I've come across students of the language who claim they don't know a word of German when they are actually suffering from "writer's block", an obstacle that can affect anybody from time to time. If you have been asked by your teacher to write about what you did at the weekend, you must have had a lesson about past tenses in German, a grammar point that is usually introduced far beyond the beginners' stage, so you must have had many German lessons by now. Try and remember what your teacher has taught you. Have you perhaps been given a few phrases to get you going, e.g.
Am Samstagmorgen bin ich um halb neun aufgestanden
Um zehn Uhr haben meine Eltern Einkäufe gemacht, während ich meine Hausaufgaben gemacht habe
If so, build on what your teacher has given you in the way of language support. At
you will find a diary entry about a past weekend, written by a learner of German like yourself. The text contains plenty of mistakes, but an "expert" has suggested ways of improving what the learner has written. You could adapt what the learner has written to incorporate your own weekend routine, but the last thing you should do is simply copy what's there and pass it off as your own, as that will be both dishonest and self-defeating.
If you Google "mein Wochenende", you'll find plenty more examples of young people's German homework on their weekend activities. For example, here's one written by a Polish learner of German:
The first paragraph says: "I spent my weekend at home. On Saturday, I got up, got washed and began to clear up (my room). That kept me busy for some time. Later I went out for a long walk with my girlfriend. Afterwards I did a lot of homework and watched TV in the evening. At 10 pm I got washed and read a very interesting book in bed. On Sunday morning, after I got washed, I went to church as I usually do on Sunday. Afterwards I finished my homework." Perhaps there's something there to get you started and to inspire you to write more? Oh, and I wouldn't recommend writing your piece in English first then using an online translator to render it into German. No online translator produces natural sounding German, so your teacher will easily tell if you've taken this route. Use the phrases your teacher has given you and if you don't have them with you, adapt to your own purposes the weekend-describing texts I've pointed out to you.
