Christians: Why do you believe after the rapture the world will be in turmoil?

Do you guys really think us non-Christians would destroy society without you to keep us in line?

Now that I think about it, according to the general concensus, the world went from being on the brink of an industrial revolution to going into the "Dark Ages" where Christianity was the driving force for 1,000 years, no?

And how is the anti-Christ going to have power over anyone? If the anti-Christ reveals he's the anti-Christ then that will prove Christianity, thus converting 99% of the population to Christianity.

a million/2 and a million/2? The Son of guy develop into already printed to Abraham from his position above Sodom. Intercession develop into being made together because the Angels were despatched down. printed and rapture aren't to any extent further any extra an similar element and Lot is the nominal church left interior the back of. The pre-trib rapture is going to the functional and stupid virgins. section pass and section are left. This revealing is secretly made to the functional virgins, truly those with the oil. it can make no extra helpful of a dent in international pastime then the introduction of Jesus did in his day. attempt 36 months into the tribulation which has already all started. We stand on the point the area the Angels have close the door on Lot's abode and human beings were struck blind.

Stop generalizing and learn about the Dark Ages and stop believing what other non-Christians tell you. Not all Christians believe in the rapture or take the Book of Revelations literal. Second it was the evading Goths from German that invaded Rome and started the Dark Ages, nothing at all to do with any religion. In fact it was Christianity that brought Rome out of the Dark Ages. If you refuse to believe this after you Google and learn then you will be just like all other non-Christians who can not accept the truth when presented with non refuable facts.

We really don't have a basis for this belief except what the Bible says about it.

Belief in the rapture itself has to be based on what Jesus taught in Matthew 24-25 and what Paul taught in his letters (such as in II Corinthians). If they say there will be "turmoil", we just go with it.

To answer your real question, yes. Non-Christians are violent, dishonest and malicious. Spend 30 minutes with an open mind in this forum and look at the unprovoked attacks on Christians. Then tell me we have no reason to believe you hate for fun.

    No Rapture to happen

Let's this thing clear; the false rapture is a "belief" that induces its victims into a state of mind that will bend and twist any scripture beyond its context in an attempt to justify a whole system of lies which has its roots in one prevailing false prophecy which says this: God will not punish his chosen people during a time of worldwide tribulation regardless of an environment of willful continuous sin and disobedience, this is and always has been the false prophet agenda.

Not all Christians believe in pre-Trib stuff.

Western society IS based off of the Bible... Nietzsche said that.

    Yeah, pretty much.

Church controlling the government is never a good idea. God IN government is.

Persuasion, charisma, a man of the people. He will be exactly what the world -- and I do mean "world" in the Biblical sense -- will need: a messiah-like figure.

    Source(s): Man's sinful nature.

The vast majority of Christians are not Dispensational Rapturists but Catholic, Orthodox or Protestants who are not concerned about that

The Post -Roman Dark Ages of Western Europe were from about AD 500 to 1000 and much of the darkness was from barbarians ( usually pagans such as the Norse, Avars, Magyars.\, etc) putting out the light of the varied renaissances( Carolingian,Northumbrian ,Irish, etc) fueled by monastic scholarship

God will will completely remove His presence from this world after the rapture. Then you will see what happens when man only is running things. When the antichrist is revealed, it will not change the views of anyone. The God-haters will still be hating God and shaking their fists at Him. By the way, after the rapture, you will have a few years of pseudo-peace before everything goes downhill. Enjoy it. One thing to note is that God doesn't convert ANYONE with whatever proof they are searching for. He reaches people on HIS terms, not on theirs. I enjoyed your question.

Not all Christians believe in the Rapture. And of those who do, they don't all agree on how it will happen. I just want to clarify that. You may get people's ideas about the sequence of events and the powers of the evil forces, but none of it is authoritative.
