can you park your bike at a police station bike rack?

i like to bike to the mall, but a lot of my friends have had there bikes stolen there.

there is a police station somewhat near by and they have a bike rack, is it ok to use it you think??? i'm not in the mood to get my bike stolen...


yay, but is it allowed to??

like would the police not like it if i did use there bike rack

    Here's a really wild idea... Why not simply walk into the police station & ASK???!!!

    You couldn't park your bike in a better place.

    As long as there aren't any signs saying 'employees only' or anything it should be fine. And if for some reason its not, you'll probably just get a note on your bike seat nicely asking you to not use that bike-stand. I mean, its a police station, they aren't going to come out and beat you up because you used their bike stand ;)
