Not really. However there is a review by Ed Gonzalez of Slant Magazine who felt that Tim Burton should of directed.

If Tim Burton was to do a Harry Potter film it would probably be the best one yet. I'm a huge Tim Burton fan, I love his quirky dark style. I don't really care for this David Yates guy, he just can't capture the darker side of the story. It's almost like he's still trying to make a children's movie. Guillermo Del Toro (director of Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth) would also be a great choice. I'd like to see Alfonso Cauron direct another HP movie. He directed The Prisoner of Azkaban, in my opinion was the best of the HP movies so far.

No. That would've made the movie a little whimsical and darker, but Tim Burton was never a part of those movies.

In fact, I found it hard to believe that Coraline didn't have Tim Burton in it. I immediately assumed that's what it meant when they said "Director of Nightmare Before Christmas" on the top.

I don't think so, but his wife plays Bellatrix Lestrange.
