can anyone translate 'when the dream became a reality' into Latin?

I have tried to rack my brain to work this one out but to no avil - too long in the tooth now!

I have looked at online translators but they are far short of the mark, even with my memory!

    Cvm spes veritas existitit.

Spes generally translates as 'hope,' but Romans used that word for looking into the future where we use dream. To them, a dream (somnium) came only when you were asleep.
