How do I figure out personal consumption expenditure (PCE)?

One of the components of the GDP Deflator is the Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE). Find and interpret the PCE for 2008.

Implicit price deflator for GDP 2008 = 109.061

GDP 2008 = 10104.5

    I think your deflator is telling you what percentage of GDP goes to PCE, so divide your GDP by your deflator *100. The information you have given isn't really consistent but this is my best guess.

    PCE=9264.998
