In the German song Du Hast, he says You Hate Me but... it doesn't make sense?

He says you hate me... but it doesn't go any further.

    ...Du hasst mich is you hate me. Du hast mich is you got me.

    Depending on who you ask the song is 'You Have Me'. So he's not saying "You hate me" :)

    Du hast means You have, but Du hasst means you hate. He's playing word games there because spoken it sounds the same in German
