英文用法分不清

(through好像也有"因為"的意思)

however

since

although

despite

這幾個單字我總是搞不懂!!

明明很多單字意思一樣卻分那麼多種

那到底是哪裡有差??我該怎麼分

有些字很多意思 但都很像~

請厲害的大大幫幫忙~

每次我都被搞得暈頭轉向@@

我稍微整理一下，看這樣會不會好一點。

1. though (連接詞) = although 雖然

though (副詞) 然而；還是(一般放句尾)

PS. through 是穿越的意思哦! thought是想法，有點像，要小心哦!^^

2. however (連接詞) 然而 ( 有點像but )

however(副詞) 無論如何

3. while (連接詞) 意思很多. 有when, although, and的成分在

a. 當..的時候; 和...同時

She listened closely while he read the letter.他讀信時,她聽得很仔細。

b. 然而

I like tea while she likes coffee.我喜歡喝茶,而她喜歡喝咖啡

c.雖然( = although = though)

While I like the color of the hat, I do not like its shape.

雖然我喜歡這頂帽子的顏色,但我不喜歡它的形狀。

4. despite (介係詞) 儘管

這裡要注意一下，介系詞後面不能接句子哦.以下給你參考.

He went to school despite his bad cold.雖然患重感冒，他還是上學去了。

= He went to school while he had bad cold.

5. since (介係詞) 從..至今 (常用於現在完成式或過去完成式)

(連接詞)既然,因為,由於; 從..至今(常用於現在完成式或過去完成式)
