Who's the better rapper Xzibit or Drake?

I like Xzibit and I think he's underrated; and drake is way overrated. both his looks and music are overrated.

I wonder if 'Rap Fan' has ever even listened to an Xzibit album...

I mean, "Xzbibit does the West Coast sound to death, and that's why he never really achieved stardom" ----- Both parts of that statement are completely wrong. And "His lyrics aren't particularly deep or moving"....seriously?

Xzibit was a leading force in alternative Hip Hop in the mid to the late 90's and managed to take a Ras Kass/early Kurupt sound to the mainstream and eventually go Platnium. He has some wack shiet...but against Drake. Honestly?

xzibit, sure he's not the best rapper but I can't stand listening to a second of drakes voice after he got popular and 'plagued' his talent/style with excessive autotune + only collaborating with commercial producers/artist because underground producers/artists won't sell when their stuff is just as good, maybe better. xzibit has a cool, hood flow you could bump to (not too gangster with high use of swear words and even higher temper: the game lol)

as for drake... listen rmto his voice in Aston Martin music and you will see what I mean

Xzbibit does the West Coast sound to death, and that's why he never really achieved stardom. He usually relies on a dope beat to get him through, and his gritty, harsh voice to evoke emotions. His lyrics aren't particularly deep or moving, but he gets the point across.

Drake has a better flow, but he lapses into so-so RnB too often, and his lyrical content also does not bear much weight.

Both the artists have their strengths and weaknesses, and are listened to purely for entertainment. I agree that Drake is overrated, however I don't think that X is underrated in the underground scene. Personally, I prefer to listen to Drake, as gangsta rap isn't really my thing, however that's just me.

I'm not a fan of Drake however Xzibit back in days when he was associated with Tha Likwit Crew was a decent MC. It's only since he joined forces with Dr. Dre in 2000 that he bacame wack.
