Can I put an 87 BMW motor in my 93 Ford Taurus?

I have an 87 BMW that has alot of mechanical issues, but the motor is great. I also have a Ford Taurus that is a good car except, the head cracked on me. I was wondering if the BMW motor would fit in the Ford. They are both v6's, will thi8s work, and would it be cheaper to swap motors then fix the motor in the Ford?

Before you do this i would read the manual. Of each car all are not the same. But the oil itself should not hurt you car. But you do want the right mix.

The Taurus is FWD isn't it. And the BMW engine is a straight six. meaning it is very long.

I doubt that there is enough room to mount a straight six in a FWD without major modification($$$).

It will be cheaper to get a new head for the Ford.
