Help me name this character.?

The character is fourteen years old. She was cursed at a young age, and is a thief. One day she gets caught by a prominent sorceress and becomes her apprentice. She is headstrong and strong willed. She is a tomboy (she wears pants and boots instead of dresses and skirts.). At first she doesn't want to be an apprentice, but comes to accept it. She has slightly tan skin, dark blue eyes and auburn hair. Her hair is usually in braids. She is street smart and knows how to fight.

Update:

I want something softer and definately feminine for a full name, but with something a little more masculine for a nickname.

Charlene can be shortened to Charlie

    Christianne could become Chris

    Alexandra could be Alex

I'm partial to the names Autumn and Oceana for her due to her hair and eyes respectively.

    How about (nicknames in brackets):

    Aurora (Rory) - means 'dawn'

    Amber (Am)

    Coral (Cor)

    Scarlett (Scar or Scout)

    Angelina (Lina)

    Ariana (Ari)

    Helena (Len)

If you want something a little different:

Jinx - means curse or magic charm

Afsoon - means spell or bewitchment

    Indigo (Indie)

    Perdita - means 'lost'

What do you think of Ciara?

I can't think of a male knickname for it, but I like it for your character. Plus, you could have them call her something that isn't even a real name, like how there's a character in holes named "Armpit" because he smells. Something like that.
