Movie with Armand Assante?

Hello,

Long time ago, I watched one movie with Armand Assante, and sadly I cant remember any details about it.

I know, that he was singing in some kind of a band in that movie, they were singing a capella songs from the 60's, and had a son (around 18 years old).

Does anyone maybe remember the title or anything about it...?
