Would you buy a Mfr Refurbished PC from Amazon?

I am looking for a gaming level PC and I found the make and model of one I like and can afford at Amazon. However, the only unit they list is a refurbished. Normal price new for this PC is $799 but the refurbished is $639. Is it safe to buy a refurbished PC?

I would never do it. There's no industry standard definition for "Refurbished". You don't know what they did, or didn't do. You don't know how badly it was overheating before someone sent it back. Those companies are all about making money, without a standard...where did they cut corners?

NEVER! Refurbished laptops are often much much slower than the specs they give, and are most often not worth the money saved. Please don't buy it! Buy the orignial new one.
