If i'm given a table with values where P=x and V=y, what formula would solve for slope using boyle's law?

What is the constant in the Boyle's Law equation? is basically the question.

    Boyle's law states that PV=constant = k (which is same as nRT)

    rearranging the terms...

    V = k/P

    which may be rewritten as...

    V = k/P + 0

    which is similar to...

    y = mx + b

    y = V

    m = k

    x = 1/P

    b = 0

    so a plot of V on the y axis and 1/P on the axis will yield a line with slope = k and intercept = 0
