There are some addon features that Intuit is now charging for, however, the Pro version of the 2011 software is a lot like the 2010 version. They do include a preference to turn off advertisement pop ups in the program and one of the releases fixed an issue with their payment advertisement showing up on invoices, which can now be turned off.
There are some nice additions, however, like the Customer Snapshot, which gives you some really good detail about your customers, along with a collection center for tracking overdue invoices. They do offer Webmail integration for emailing forms through Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or Hotmail, and they still offer Outlook as an option.
One of the best improvements in my opinion is the customer/vendor history that shows on the right side of a transaction. When you create an invoice or enter a bill, once you select your customer/vendor, you get to see the history of that person. The customer will show recent invoices and payments, as well as any notes you may have, and the vendor will show recent bills, POs, and payments. This can save a lot of time as you don't have to flip between screens.
I would recommend getting the 2011 version, and make sure that you download all the available software updates (it should check automatically for you). This will also ensure that your software will be supported longer than if you get the 2010. Intuit typically only supports the current version plus the previous two. This means that your 2011 should be supported until 2014 comes out.
