Examples of Biology Concepts?
I have to come up with three examples of why understanding the concepts of biology are important. They can be related to medical or technological advances and even consumer goods. Can anyone help with this?

The human species survived for more than 175,000 years without understanding the concepts of biology. Apparently such knowledge isn't critically important.
1. Knowledge of evolution is important for limiting the use of antibiotics. Overuse of antibiotics will lead to resistant strains of bacteria becoming more prevalent.
2. Knowledge of genetics can be useful in breeding new "green revolution" crop plants. Without highly productive crop plants, the world population would have stabilized at about two billion (and a lot of those would be starving).
3. Knowledge of the role of DNA within cells has led to genetic engineering products, including golden rice, which is a grain that has been "edited" to produce more vitamin A precursor.

They can be:
1)This it is a very important task because we are able to know the behavior or functioning of each population when it faces to other individuals from other populations or communities and how the populations or the specific sectors of the biosphere are affected and/or benefited by that behavior or functioning of the populations into a community..
2)For example, where to find all the proteins and nutrients our body needs and it is very interesting how we got our features. and how different the chromosomes in our cells are. they play different roles. however, if you are not planning to be a doctor or something near it, it is an extra knowledge which might help you in the future. health-concious wise.
3)Its main function is to annoy creationists using logic and evidence.
It has a secondary role in explaining how life works.
4)Biology can tell us about the physical makeup of our bodies, which enables us to produce cures and treatments for many diseases
5)can also tell us about the bodies of other animals so we can provide clinical treatments for pets and farm animals.
6)Biology can also tell us why animals act the way they do, also why humans act the way we do
7)Understanding life forms (plants and animals) helps us understand the Biosphere (life coating the earth) so that we don't ruin our environment.
8)Medicine stems from a study of biology and helps prevent lethal pandemics, as in the Black Plague from days of yore
9)Fossils are important in locating underground oil and natural gas reserves. Even coal and mineral oil formed from decomposed plant bodies are key to industrial prosperity.
10)Medical advancement also shows the importance of biology in our daily lives. The study of dreaded diseases, their causative agents, cure as well as the actions of drugs are a way of biological enlightenment that strives minimizing human sufferingSource(s): firstname.lastname@example.org contact me for more info
