Why havent we seen Carnage in the Spider Man Movies?

Theres been 3 i havnt seen CARNAGE? he was more Dangereous than Venom?

Well since Spider-Man 3 did really bad it's come to where they ended up not putting him in one. However they may make a new Spider-Man Movie series and put Carnage in one of those movies. I'm hoping they do anyway.
