What military or fbi tv show was this ?

i can barely remember any of it, but i believe the army or marines requested the help of the fbi. An agent was asking the servicemen questions, and one decided to give the agent a hard time, the agent told the serviceman something like " i can always tell your commanding officer" then of course the serviceman complied. i really only remember that small part but i really want to find out what show that was. btw its im sure its not JAG

Most likely NCIS. That would be a far better series if they would dump the girl in the lab. I would never put up with her crap. If you know anything about the Navy Criminal Investigations Service you would know 90% of what you see on TV is far out from reality. They have very limited jurisdiction and only in extreme cases do they have authority over cases happening off an installation most generally subordinating to local law enforcement. Significant criminal cases occurring on a Navy installation with concurrent jurisdiction (that is both the military and civilian law enforcement have authority) involving a civilian or dependent will most often be handled by civilian law enforcement, not NCIS. I enjoy their program in-spite of the ditsy woman.
