Stretching your ears with pinchers?

Question

I am stretching my ears from a 14g to a 10g with Pinchers. How long do I keep the pinchers in? And what are the things that look like plugs that came with the pinchers? Am I supposed to put them in after I stretch my ears? Thanks..(:

I know an old woman who wore heavy earrings for years and had a huge hole in her earlobes and then the connection at the bottom of the ear lobe broke/separated. Do you know how disgusting it is? Did you ever think about how this will look when you are 90?????
