Great question. White light, when refracted through a prism has more than one color. Red, green, yellow and blue.
and the answer by tina is incorrect because as you may know, if you do spectrometry in chemistry you would have come across that there is visible light and invisible light in the color spectrum and white light has visible. and this can get complicated when you strat to look at primary colors and secondary colors etc. so the best answer is "PRIMARY COLORS VISIBLE FROM THE SPECTRUM"
