So if the Centeral Intelligence Agency call themselves CIA?

...And the Federal Bureau of Investigations call themselves the FBI, then why doesn't the Secret Service call themselves the SS?

    The FBI and the CIA are federal agencies. The Secret service, officially The United States Secret Service, is part of Homeland Security. Plus they were smart enough to realize what calling themselves the SS would do. z
