Will Obama's releasing a longer version of his birth certificate satisfy Donald Trump, et al.?
"The White House set the process into motion last week — a decision that aides said the president made himself. Saying the “fake issue” had become a distraction, White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer said the president hopes to defeat the controversy by addressing it directly.
On Thursday, White House counsel Bob Bauer asked Obama’s personal lawyer, Judith Corley of Perkins Coie, to contact the Hawaii Health Department. After returning Friday from a two-day trip through California and Nevada, Obama signed a letter to the department requesting a waiver of department policy to release his long-form certificate. Since the mid-1980s, the state has provided only short-form certificates, Bauer said.
Loretta Fuddy, the state health director, responded to Obama in a letter Monday saying she will grant an exception given “your status as president of the United States.”
“We hope that issuing you these copies of your original certificate of live birth will end the numerous inquiries received by the Hawaii Department of Health to produce this document,” Fuddy wrote. “Such inquiries have been disruptive to staff operations and have strained state resources.”
The hair is the problem? I like your sense of humor!
Cream L., I read just today (4/29/11): unlike the typical African American, Obama is like most non-blacks. He knows his ancestry. His upbringing approximates that of a white man more than that of a man born black into an African-American family. By way of contrast, Africans sold into slavery here were for centuries denied not only citizenship but also the dignity of being viewed as human. Thus, most descendants of the first-generation slave lack a knowledge of their roots. It therefore becomes imperative to people who dislike (or even hate) Obama to "bring him down a peg" to the level at which they wish to see him. They cannot accept him as their equal. Their problem is propagating their hateful desire that ALL of us see Obama as an outsider, one who does not fully belong. Consequently, it is not enough to call him a Muslim outsider; he must be an AFRICAN Muslim outsider. Being what he is is, he could not graduate magna *** laude from Harvard without behind-the-scenes "help." Lacking
evidence, those who hate repeat their litany, hoping eventually to put together a lynch mob.

Oh come on, give up on the birth certificate already. It's rediculous, and just a way for them to try and get rid of him without them seeming like racists. I find it amusing that people would be trying to stir up trouble like that, complaining about something so stupid, when there are more important things to worry about. And no that birth certificate wont satisfy Trump, afterall he immeadiately started going on about Obama's education after that, saying something about releasing some school record or something. Things will never end, and i personally think that if Trump cant leave things alone then he shouldnt even be allowed to run for president at all, because if the only way he can get in is to harrass the existing one and keep raising doubts about EVERY aspect of Obama's life then he doesnt deserve to be president.

It will satisfy Trump but not his hair. His hair still believes that Obama is a socialist Kenyan who was put into office to destroy all that the cons have accomplished. His hair believes that the commies invented time travel, went back to 1961 and planted the birth announcement in the Honolulu paper. They then waited until the Muslim Kenyan was elected to further their goal of world domination. What could possibly go wrong with a plan which involved having a half black man elected as president? If only Trumps' hair hadn't figured it all out, it would have been perfect.

Not likely... Birthers are conspiracy nutcases, and will inevitably claim that it's a fake.
Sadly, it's the only thing that keeps them entertained.
