The Ugandan immigration officer at the port of entry will determine the length of authorized stay, which is generally from one to three months as a tourist.
Visitors must hold return/onward tickets, and all documents required for their next destination and sufficient funds. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be informed of the details of passengers coming to Uganda for business, or other purposes than tourist visits, for security reasons.
