can i hook my acer netbook up to my tv to watch netflix?
want to get netflix, but i dont have a play station, xbox, or bluray player. all i have is my 32 inch best buy brand (insignia) flat screen tv and my 10.1 in acer aspire one netbook. Though i could probably be able to watch it on my netbook, i want to be able to watch it on my television screen.
Is there a way to hook my netbook up to my television to watch netflix?
what kind of cord should i look for? where can i find it? and about how much do u estimate it will cost?

Actually you can, depending on what kind of video outputs your netbook has and what kind of video inputs your tv has.
Well the most common video output would be a VGA. Most new TVs and nearly all laptops have them. For your purposes though their is one bad thing. This cable doesn't carry audio. So you would have to find another cable that converts the 3.5 mm jack into a RCA cable.
Next up would be a HDMI. Anything that has anything to deal with high definition screens has one of these plugs. The HDMI would be the recommended cord to use. It carries both your audio and video.
Now you may have a S-video cable too. But this cable is in the same boat as the VGA and it is not nearly as common. So you would need a another audio cord in addition to this one.
You could also use a usb video adapter. This is the least recommended option because it is the most expensive and can be a little complicated.
I wish you good luck
