Is it easy to get into Boston from Bentley University in Waltham?

I won't have a car. Is there a metro? Or any cheap public transportation? How's traffic? About how long does it take?

Yes. The 554 Bus stops at Beaver St. and Field Rd. Right outside.

you can take the Commuter Rail from Waltham (moody street) Commons to Back Bay. You can also take the 70 bus to Central Sq. Cambridge, and then the 1 bus to cross Mass Ave into Boston

not really cuz bently is in a residential neighborhood. But if you took a cab from bently to the commuter rail station in waltham near moody street that would be easy. only 3 stops then north station(garden, etc)
