This is the projects. Most of those living there are illegal aliens, provided free housing by the liberals. They have plenty of money, drive nice cars etc, However, since they are illegal, with no SSN and not paying any taxes there is no income to verify. As they have to verifiable income they are privided free housing, free food, a welfare check, free medical, etc etc etc.

Actually, these government housing projects are only given to those WITH a SSN. Most of these programs are for LEGAL people. I do agree most of the people that live in the projects are not that poor. I call them lucky. They don't spend much $$ on rent, thus being able to afford other luxuries.

Pico Gardens is Public Housing not Section 8.

Meaning that residents receive a very small break in the rent based on income...which is subsidized. This is often only 20 or 30 dollars.

Only Section 8 housing is totally paid for by the government.

Actually, you might be wrong. these government housing projects are only given to those WITH a SSN. Most of these programs are for LEGAL people. I do agree most of the people that live in the projects are not that poor. I call them lucky, because its like they win a lottery to live there. It is sad that we are paying these people to sit on their azzes and watch TV--satellite TV while we struggle for money to pay for Health Care, food and basic cable.

You know, if this were a rich neighborhood, I could case it out without leaving my government-paid flat in Engelwood.

well...free rent, free food, free cable...i would say each unit has at least one car and two TV's,as well....

liberals can whine all they want but there is NO poverty in America...they see no high speed internet as being "poor"...
