Predicted Offensive Rookie of the Year: Julio Jones, WR, St. Louis

Despite the fact I have him falling to 14th, I think he'll be Sam Bradford's favorite target and will be a huge reason why the once-lowly Rams make the playoffs this year (God forbid a LOCKOUT).

Predicted Defensive Rookie of the Year: Nick Fairley, DT, Tennessee Titans

Fairley was dominant at Auburn in 2010 and I expect him to succeed greatly in the NFL this year BECAUSE Tennesee just hired Tracy Rocker, who was at Auburn the last two years, as D-Line coach. Rocker was the one who molded Fairley and this is the perfect fit for Nick Fairley

Sam: That could be the case.

    Good job.

But I have a feeling the Cowboys trade the 9 pick to the Rams if Julio Jones or A.J. Green are available. The Rams get one of those receivers, then the Cowboys take Mike Pouncey at 14 and get some extra picks in the trade.

Not bad, but if Newton goes 1st, then Gabbert won't fall past #3 overall, and certainly not past #4. Also don't think Julio Jones will fall that far, with both him and Green going inside the top 10.

And as far as the Rookie of the Year projections, Jones or Green are a safe bet for offense, but your reaching with Fairley on defense. This is more of a homer pick than anything else. Their is a reason why Fairley's stock is dropping, and its not because he wasn't as big as advertised. I would go with Von Miller.

Only one I looked at (because it's really the only one I care about) is the Lions. And I've heard the Soldier talks, but I honestly doubt they draft an O-lineman in the 1st round because their line played really well last year. They have much bigger needs in the back 7, which is where I expect them to draft early on.
