Ideas for possible fillings for mochi/daifuku without anko/bean paste?

I have a lot of glutinous rice flour sitting around, and I want to use it to make mochi, but I don't know what to use for a filling. I know daifuku is filled with red bean paste (Anko), but I want to do without it. So what else could I fill the mochi with? Ice cream, I know is one. What kinds would go well... show more I have a lot of glutinous rice flour sitting around, and I want to use it to make mochi, but I don't know what to use for a filling. I'm looking for ideas for both sweet and dessert-like, and savory-ish. The more creative ideas, the better! :) But all will be greatly appreciated!
