Are total eclipses, which are only observable on earth, coincidences or evidence of intelligent design?

During a total eclipse in 1919, astronomers confirmed that gravity affects light, confirming Einstein's theory of general relativity. General relativity implied an absolute beginning to space, time, matter, and energy in the Big Bang, which was confirmed by observations of an expanding universe. Because the Big Bang could not owe to natural causes, which require space, time, matter, and energy, it implies a supernatural origin of the universe--that it was created by God. Doesn't this imply that God arranged for this discovery?

Update:

Hobbie Horse, you're right that the moon's orbit is increasing a few centimeters a year. But isn't it interesting that we have perfect eclipses now, given developments in physics, astronomy, and cosmology only about a century old? In addition, the moon stabilizes the tilt of the earth's axis, which keeps the temperature within a livable range, and causes tides, which deliver vital nutrients to the oceans.

Update 2:

Check the time line, Ozone Guy. The moon was formed before abiogenesis.

The evidence suggests the universe had a beginning. This suggests a super natural or extra ordinary event that exceeds the laws of physics and in fact caused matter and the laws of physics to come into existence. If this isn't evidence of a supernatural being's handiwork then what is?

"1919: Bending Star Light Supports General Theory of Relativity. During a solar eclipse, Sir Arthur Eddington General relativity predicted a beginning to space and time observed the bending of starlight passing by the sun, matching the effect predicted by Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. Although Einstein's theory had predicted that either the universe was either expanding or contracting, he initially modified his theory to support the prevailing scientific notion that the universe had always existed, and was therefore in a "steady state". This fudge factor, which he called a "cosmological constant", was later withdrawn by Einstein after he had examined the evidence put forth by Sir Edmond Hubble (see below), Soviet Aleksandr Friedmann, and others. Einstein admitted that the universe must have had a beginning. He later referred to the employment of this cosmological constant as the "greatest blunder" of his career.

1927: That the Galaxies Are All Retreating From Us. While peering through the 100 inch Hooker telescopeThe search for evidence of intelligent design at the Mt. Wilson observatory in California, American astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered that the spectra of many nebulae tended to be "shifted" toward the longer wavelength, red end of the electromagnetic spectrum (as compared to the Sun and other nearby stars). By combining the red shift data with distance measurements, he discovered that the more distant a nebulae (or star), the greater its red shift.

Essentially Hubble had discovered that the galaxies are all retreating from us. The farther galaxies are retreating faster than the nearer ones (now known to occur only out to a distance of about 7 billion light years), as if space itself is stretching. Although many scientists still wanted to cling to the "steady state" theory of the past, the evidence pointed to a rapidly expanding universe that of necessity had finite past."

Total eclipse or even part eclipse show that the universe is placed in a perfect condition, with the planets having a good distance and they orbit in a steady and timed way that they do not crush in each other. It is a total or partial depending also from where it is seen in the world. All planets have their particular gravity which helps to keep the distance uniform. It is the work of an intelligence design and another example of His wisdom. We know not enough of what is there beyond the infinite universe. Wonder of wonders. How could one just say it is a result of a big bang without also admitting that behind that big bang there was also another BIG Supreme. There is also a relevance between the planets and the earth, as we have seen in the last earthquakes that the world experienced these last months. Also were it that the planets lose their gravity they will lose also this

exactness and bad effect will be borne.

Everything is all planned by God.

Coincidence. The moon is slowly moving into a higher orbit around earth. A few million years from now, it will appear smaller from the surface of this planet. At that time, it won't be capable of producing a total eclipse. Millions and millions of years ago, the moon was closer and appeared larger. Those eclipses must have rocked, because they shut the light from the sun off for a long time.

Understand that it appears that Theia slammed into Earth, destroyed all life on Earth, melted the entire surface of Earth, and all the light elements "lobed off" (or coalesced in space) and formed the Moon. Then for more than 2.2 billion years, the Moon has been slowly creeping away, to be lost just before the Sun swallows the Earth up in another 3-5 billion years.

There was life before we had a Moon. Apparently "God" didn't like it that it survived on a "wobbly" planet.

You've been told not to look outside yourself for proof of His existence. Why do you continue to defy Holy instructions, and assume that you didn't understand?

    [EDIT: "Check the timeline."

The timeline was produced by Sinners, who do not have your particular illness. How do you know you can trust them?]

    [EDIT:

Let's add that in a few hundred million years, eclipses will not be total anymore, as the Moon is receding.]

You're correlating an eclipse with God creating the universe?

    Sorry, but no.
