area problem rectangular box?

A rectangular box has length 0.6m and width 0.3m. What is the area?

    length x width = area

    Therefore 0.6 x 0.3= 0.18 meters^2 (squared)

    Area is Length x Width

    so (0.6m) * (0.3m) = 0.18 meters squared

    You'd do length x width,

    and it'd come out too 0.18m squared
