How do I solve this on a (TI-30XA) calculator?

Looks like you're trying to solve a future value or interest problem.

Try typing it this way, using brackets on the exponent:

FV = 10,000 * (1+.06/12)^(10*12)

FV = 10,000 * (1.005)^120

Your answer should be 18,193.9673.
