Free online Korean Tutor?

Does anyone know of a FREE ONLINE korean tutor to help teach me Korean? I'm self-studying but I think having someone to ask questions to would be better. Especially with sentence structures...Please and Thank you!

Well ... I think you'd be pretty hard-pressed to find free websites dedicated to just tutoring Korean. ^_^; However, I'd like to recommend two websites where you may be able to ask people about Korean.

The first is a website for learning Korean:

    http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/

I really like it ... ^_^; Haha. This website is run by a team of native Korean speakers, and it's updated frequently. They have a lot of interesting lessons, and they're usually happy to answer your questions, too. =) They check the comment sections of their posts regularly, and there are also places where you can communicate with them. There's also a forum ("Community" link) where you can ask people questions and practice Korean with others.

Also, you should check out this language exchange website:

    http://www.livemocha.com/

It's not a tutoring website, but there are a lot of speakers of many different languages there. Everybody on the site is learning a language, so it's a learning-oriented community. You can sometimes get a lot of help from people there. =) For lack of time, I've stopped using the website myself, but I still communicate with a nuna I met there regularly by email.

I'll let you know if I find any more good websites! I hope this helps for now!

    EDIT:

I searched "korean tutoring online", but the sites I saw were paid. =\

At any rate, I found this: http://www.learn-korean.net/ It seems neat, from the description.

    Hopefully more links to come!

Here, by the way, are a few more useful sites for Korean:

    http://www.sayjack.com/learn/korean/

    http://korean.sogang.ac.kr/

    http://www.youtube.com/user/BusyAtomdotcom

Here are a couple links for more advanced learners:

    http://www.language.berkeley.edu/korean/10/

http://parksguide.blogspot.com/ - this is a Korean grammar blog, actually. The author sometimes responds to comments.

    Source(s): I've been studying Korean (mostly on my own) for over a year. Lately I've been doing a language exchange with someone. ^^;

These days you can learn how to speak Korean over the internet. Check out this online course, it's voted as the best Korean online course of all time: http://www.rocketlearner.com/korean The course is very easy to follow, I was able to learn Korean in just 3 months.

I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a Korean language teacher but that would have cost me over $800 per month. Good thing with this internet, $800 it's a lot of money for me.
