    Perforated does not mean protrude. It suggests an acquired loss of structural integrity i.e. a hole of some sort.

    How it feels depends on the cause. If its traumatic one may have pain and alterations in hearing. If due to middle ear infection at the time of perforation one may feel pain but also a 'relief of pressure' and notice a discharge.

    Perforated means to protrude, It is Swollen, inflammed and painful. You do not want to know the feeling of it when you aquire it.
