No offence, but if you are married/middle aged/working and you have horrid credit and have not saved even $1,500 for a rainy day the problem is not going to be solved by borrowing or even finding $1,500. Once you get through this you should really think about changing the way you are living. Start honoring your word - every negative item on your credit report came from someone who trusted you to pay them for either something they did for you or for money you borrowed from them - and you did not pay them. Also, for goodness sakes start saving some money. If you are living paycheck to paycheck get rid of cell phones, cable tv, even internet. Don't go out to eat. Save money or you will be in this situation again and again. This is not somthing that happened to you. You may not have done anything to cause your job loss, but you did allow your financial condition to be such that missing a couple of paychecks has you looking at homelessness. Nine out of ten you will just think I'm a jerk and you are a victim. The only reason I bothered to write this is with the hope that you may be open to the idea that if you change your behavior now, this situation may not repeat itself.
