Are there battery powered LED lights?

I am doing a costume for a convention where I will be dressing as one of the Sirens from Tron: Legacy. For the glowing effects, I was thinking of wearing led lights. Glueing a strip onto the cotton bodysuit, hiding the wires, and using a battery to power them. Is that possible? Are their battery operated led lights? where could I get them?

Call a local craft store and see if they have them. Usually around Christmas time they do for sure, as battery operated "Christmas lights"

Usually best to buy and stock up on them around Christmas, so you have them when you need them for the rest of the year.

Here are a few places you can order them online...
