Film/Musical Dance songs?

Hey :)

I am a dance student and for my exam I need to choreograph a routine to a piece of music/song from a film or musical

I have no idea which song though!

I would like to do something rather fast, but a slow start would be a bonus for the beginning!

It can't be 3/4 timing

Please help!!xxx

in case you desire something unique (properly, not accomplished very oftentimes!) i might recommend some songs from Paint Your Wagon - a Wild West mining city subject. The musical became made as a action picture and is obtainable on DVD and then there is often wicked! The Musical (the prequel to the Wizard of oz., presently on on the West end).

You should pick a song you can connect with. Try watching a musical that you like or have heard of and pick a song that would be fun to dance to. Hope this helps and good luck with your exam!
