There are likely programs for veterans - a pension, EI, or whatever.

In Canada (I don't know where you live), we have Services Canada, and they provide welfare and EI for people who are unemployed. This is not a huge amount of money, but will likely help you get on your feet.

If I knew where you lived, I could look up what is in your area.

wow that's awful man. it's not fair that a veteran should be homeless.

so i'll give you advice. i know this is unethical, but maybe you could feign PTSD and get some service-connected pension through a veteran's hospital.
