No. Earthquakes occur all over the earth, but Korea has had few compared to countries to its east. The most frequent earthquakes occur in the countries that border the Pacific Ocean - it's called the ring of fire and runs and outline around the Pacific - see the link for what it looks like, http://earthquake.usgs.gov/ - the map on the right of the world shows recent earthquake activity and the yellow, blue and red boxes border the Pacific from Australia, Asia, Alaska, and North and South America. Korea has had few earthquakes in its history but it not immune from having them. I found reference to an earthquake in 2009 in North Korea, and that's the last one I could see.

    no.

even if there is an earthquake, it does very little or no damage.
