Would you be doing a lot better if gas was 1.99 a gallon?

I would rather it be cheaper but I wouldn't do much different because most of my expenses go to bills and groceries. I don't do much long distance driving apart from small trips generally less than 7 miles. However I feel the gas costs when I go visit my daughter who lives 45 minutes away.

Maybe a little. But I don't use much gas. I don't like the choice being taken away from me though. And I don't like the fact that it raises prices on everything else. I guess I'll just tighten my belt a little more.

Of course, just watch the economy fall off after a few months of $4 plus gas.

Honestly I don't think so. Filling my tank has never cost me more than $30.00 a week . I drive about 70 miles a day and only if I do a side trip do I have to fill up more than once every 7 days.

Gasoline costs effect everything you eat, use, wear, etc.

Everyone would be doing better with lower gas prices. Period.

It would be helpful. THE GOP NEEDS TO STOP giving money and resources to the OIL INDUSTRY. They are having outlandish profits, while America is HURTING!

Not really, it might save me around $1500 a year but that is not much.
