What should the water temperature be to wash somebody else's hair?
I'm after a temperature setting in degress Celcius for a thermostat.

Wash with lukewarm. But when rinsing out conditioner for curly hair use colder water (as cold as the person can stand). The curls will come out way better. If they have NATURALLY (not chemically manipulated) straight hair it won't matter as much.
Never wash, condition with hot water for any hair type.Source(s): Curly headed person with huge hair. RESEARCH

The temperature would not count. extreme warmth like irons, curling or straightening can dry hair out by way of fact it eliminates all moisture. Hair cuticles are open and closed by ability of Ph. Hair is needless to say acidic (4.5-5.5) and you like products in this ph selection. Salon products would be. maximum drugstore shampoos and conditioners are alkaline and not as useful. look for products that are ph balanced. chilly water remaining hair cutlicles is a delusion. honest.
