How do you convert this equation to Polar Form?

x = r cos Θ and y = r sin Θ so make those replacements, then solve for r
r^2 cos^2 Θ/36 + r^2 sin^2 Θ / 100 = 1
multiply by 3600
100r^2 cos^2 Θ + 36 r^2 sin^2 Θ = 3600
factor out r^2 then divide by the other factor and √ both sides
r^2 (100 cos^2 Θ + 36 sin^2 Θ) = 3600
r^2 = 3600 / (100 cos^2 Θ + 36 sin^2 Θ)
r = 60 / √(100 cos^2 Θ + 36 sin^2 Θ)
