1. I almost prefer to write short stories, but I enjoy writing novels, too.
2. Realistic fiction.
3. Character-driven stories.
4. Bittersweet or sad endings...both are fantastic.
BQ: I discovered my 'passion' when I was about seven or eight. I loved to write horror stories and read them to my aunt. She always told me, "Xiao, when you grow up, you'll have a gift for words". I didn't take any writing seriously until I was in high school, though. Now that I think about it, I probably don't take it too seriously these days, either.
BQ2: I don't. I never share anything I write because I write for myself. I write to vent and I write to escape from struggles I may be facing. Besides, I have self-esteem issues, so it's probably for the best. :D
BQ3: I've finished quite a number of short-stories and poems, but I've never finished anything longer than a novella.
BQ4: "HNNNG WHY IS LIFE SO HARD".
BQ5: When it comes to writing, B&A has taught me that it's perfectly fine for the first draft to suck, and they've taught me more than enough about developing and pre-planning. Otherwise, they've taught me about friendship and what it means to help others. I'm really glad I take part here.
