Question about U.S. Marshal's Service?

Who does the legal work for the U.S. Marshal's Service? Do they have their own in-house counsel, or does a particular component of the Justice Department do their work? (draft/approve warrants etc.)

    Both, the DOJ represents them but they also have lawyers who do the everyday type of work you cited.}{
