What does "Te gusta las papas fritas" mean?

Found it on a surf board, have no idea what it means.

Like the other people said, its you like (the) french fries, but isn't this grammatically incorrect? I think it should be gustan since papas fritas is plural.

  • It means you like chips (or possibly french fries) in spanish. But it looks like a question, cause you just can't go up to someone and be like "You like french fries"
