One of the best players to ever play the game. Played for the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1984-1997 and then again from 2000-2006 (when he returned from retirement). Lead the team to back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1991 and 1992. Leads the franchise in goals, points, assists, and games played. Owns many NHL records. He battled cancer, and chronic back issues. Won many awards and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 after the NHL waived the normal 3 year waiting period. He is currently co-owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins and basically saved to the franchise from relocation.
