SQL Server 2005 Collation Settings conflict with MOSS 2007?

While installing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 a SQL 2005 Collation Setting is causing an error that is impeding us in the download process. When installing SQL 2005 we set the collation settings for "Latin1_General_CI_AS_KS_WS," which are the most preferred settings, but the MOSS 2007 server is still giving us errors when trying to create the database. Any suggestions?

because sq. 2008 has been out for a collectively as i might stay far off from 2000 and concentration on 2005 and 2008. do no longer assume any shop could have a unmarried version of the DB around. we are at the instant deploying 2008 for brand spanking new structures we setup and modern-day 2005 structures would be migrated over the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i does not waste any time on 2000 except there's a particular activity you're going for that makes use of it.
