Trying to pick a favorite Johnny Cash song is like picking out which one of your kids you like the best. It's just not possible. That being said, these songs are the ones that I find as my favorite. Maybe not the most popular ones but boy do they leave an impression on me.
Sunday Morning Coming Down
I Hung My Head
And great choice with I've Been Everywhere Punch. One of my favorites from my travels around the US. Anyone who's going to Winnemucca is OK in my book.

Good Afternoon Punch :)
I would be lying if I said that I was his greatest Fan, though I did buy the "Folsom Prison" Album way back in the day. Two Tracks come to mind, the first being "Jackson" with June Carter for no other reason that it is just a very sweet song.
Then, "I walk the line", for the really clever key changes where he "hums" to get into pitch.
I feel sure that if I was American, and a C&W fan, I would rate higher than I do, though I do respect him greatly for his long musical contribution.
@Jennifer. Read the Question: "Late in his career, Cash covered songs by several rock artists, among them the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails and the synthpop band Depeche Mode." If you want to read Country Questions, go to that section, rather than querying the judgement of one of R&Ps finest.
