Has Obama's failure to support our allies in the Middle East meant the terrorists have won the war on terror?

Obama has failed to show support to Ben Ali in Tunisia and Mubarak in Egypt, which both were loyal allies and fell to Islamic terrorists.

Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria, Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen, royal families of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are now battling for their lives, and Obama seems to be completely silent, instead he should be pledging his unequivocal support to these allies so they can stop the Middle East becoming an Islamic Caliphate!!!!

Everyone you have mentioned here were or are dictators. They suppressed anyone they suspected of being a radical. They also used it as an excuse to persecute their enemies.

You can't have both ways. You can't say you are for democracy then support dictators when their people want democracy.

The middle east will not become a Caliphate that would require all the people is the various nation to become one nation and elect a single leader. That is not going to happen. Besides a true Khalifa (leader of a Caliphate) would been the ruler of all Muslims, and that is not going to happen.

If we are doing to support democracy in the middle east fine. If we are going to support fine. But you can't do both, because none of the leaders in the middle east have democratic governments.

And the people have free elections and the majority want a Islamic leadership is that not still democracy. Or are we going to be like them a void the elections when we don't like the outcome?

What allies? Those men are despots. The last thing the US needs is to be seen backing a losing regime like the Shah. How do you think Ahmadamnutjob got into power?

perchance it truly is time the U. S. stopped helping those outdated dictators. We have been taking off to look extra like the Redcoats and much less like the revolutionaries the the remainder of the worldwide used to think of we are.

No. We should have better allies than those tyrants. That is one reason why so many in the Middle East hate us.
